Jen Tompkins - Owner/Director
Jen Tompkins has been teaching all disciplines of dance and choreographing competition routines for more than twenty years. She has studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Jen is currently the owner/director of planetdance located in Belleville, MI. Her students have won numerous scholarships, overall awards at conventions and competitions, full scholarships to Point Park in Pittsburgh, toured with Megan Trainor, industry commercials, and toured with several recording artists. Jen has traveled with several dance conventions and has choreographed for “America's Best Dance Crew.” Her cutting edge choreography has won numerous awards at both regional and national competitions and teaches workshops all around the United States. She loves teaching dance and instilling the same love in her students, which carries through all their years of dance.
Kendall Stasser
Kendall began dancing at age 3 and has been with planetdance ever since! She has trained in all styles of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, musical theatre and lyrical. As a competitive dancer, Kendall has won numerous overall awards and many scholarships at conventions all over the country. She is a 4 time winner of the "planetdancer of the year" award. In 2015, Kendall won the title of Wayne/Westland Junior Miss where she won the categories of talent, fitness and interview. She has trained under some of the best choreographers in the industry and has been teaching for the past 5 years. Kendall danced competitively for 15 years and has competed with some of the best dancers around. Teaching at planetdance is something she absolutely loves to do and being able to share her love of dance with the students is something she has always dreamed of.
Courtney Stone
Courtney Stone began her dance training at the age of four and quickly developed a passion for the art. She trained extensively in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop and Musical Theatre as a dancer. As a competitive dancer she won numerous overall awards and scholarships to train with some of the most sought-after choreographers. Courtney has been teaching all genres of dance at Planetdance for the past 14 years, specializing in Tap. Her students have won numerous overall awards and national titles at various competitions. Courtney loves sharing her passion for dance with her students and enjoys inspiring them by providing a positive environment for them to develop their love of dance.

Kristen Quesada
Kristen Quesada has been a dance educator and choreographer for 25 years. She has directed and choreographed countless plays and musicals, and spent several years traveling the country as a spokesperson for the International Auto Show circuit. Her dance background includes professional training in all genres of dance, specializing in tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary and lyrical. Many of Kristen’s students have gone on to win state and national titles, and overall high score awards. Kristen’s passion for training students to maximize their performance potential has proven successful, as many of her former students are working professionally as dances and actors for Disney World, Disney Tokyo, Hollywood Studios, Busch Gardens, in Las Vegas shows, on cruise ships, in music videos, on nationally televised awards shows, in national commercials, for The Radio-City Music Hall Rockettes, and on Broadway. Kristen is a member of various professional organizations, including Dance Masters of Michigan and Dance Masters of America.

Shannon Stein
Meet Shannon, the invaluable Office Manager at PlanetDance. With her unwavering dedication and exceptional organizational skills, Shannon plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our dance studio. Her warm personality and approachable nature create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and students alike. Shannon's contributions are fundamental to the success of PlanetDance. With her passion for dance and commitment to excellence, Shannon continues to elevate the studio's operations and foster a vibrant dance community

Allison Lincoln
Allison Lincoln is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher. She found her love for teaching and choreographing at a young age, but it was brought to life while exploring movement at college. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a BFA in Dance, and is hoping to further her dance education academically. Starting dance at the age of two, her classical ballet training was based in the Cecchetti method, where she completed exams Grade 1 through Grade 4. She was brought up training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern; getting to continue an in depth education in all of these styles at the University. She’s gotten to focus on the importance of anatomy, technique, dance history, and artistry. Allison was involved with Dance Masters of America in her early dance years, and understands the importance of challenge and exposure. She is passionate about humanity; creating movement from personal emotions and experiences. Allison was able to choreograph many projects while in school, and now outside of school; choreographing music videos for local artists and working on personal projects. She is choreographing a piece for the Detroit Dance City Festival this fall.

Mr. Bill
Bill was accepted at Wayne State in 2010. Worked with names like Jule Bour, Med Paul, Karen Prall, Liz Schmids, Addison ODaY. I have been consistently teaching for over 10 years now at over 15 different Michigan studios.
Also Working with several different ballet companies on productions of Nutcracker, starring as Cavalier Prince/Snow.

Alicia Pomponio
Alicia Pomponio is a teacher and choreographer and has trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, and liturgical dance for over 10 years, primarily at Northville Ballet Theatre. She has also trained at Christina’s Adult ballet, Eisenhower Dance Company and Wayne State University. Alicia loves to perform anywhere she has the opportunity, whether that’s church services, music videos, or in other productions such as Music Hall’s Choreographer’s Showcase, American Ballet Theatre’s Sleeping Beauty, Project Dance, Company One at Wayne State University or, most recently, the Detroit Dance City Festival. She loves to teach ballet and pointe technique and has a passion for choreography in contemporary and lyrical. She is also trained in STOTT Pilates and likes to incorporate Pilates techniques into her dancing and teaching. What Alicia loves most about teaching is watching dancers learn new ways to move and grow as performers and artists. She strives always to help the dancers fall in love with dancing and excel in their own unique way because each dancer is beautiful and wonderfully gifted!
